I am an ATC (Certified Athletic Trainer) and NCSF-CPT and a NASM-PES National Academy of Sports Medicine - Performance Enhancement Specialist,NASE-SES (National Academy of Speed and Explosion - Speed and Explosion Specialist) Athletic Training is a major link between a sports program and the medical community for the implementation of injury prevention, emergency care, and rehabilitation procedures.
What is an Athletic Trainer? A certified athletic trainer (ATC) is a highly qualified medical professional that deals with injuries that occur with the physically active population. ATCs focus on several major tasks. These tasks include: prevention, evaluation and recognition, rehabilitation and conditioning, and counseling and guidance.
